Terms of Use
Last updated: April 8, 2026
This document describes the terms of use for codefloat.pl. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch directly.
1. About This Site
codefloat.pl is an informational and portfolio website run by Piotr, operating as a sole proprietorship under the codefloat brand. The site is designed to showcase capabilities and serve as a point of contact for B2B collaboration in data science and fullstack engineering.
2. Nature of Content
All content on this site — service descriptions, case studies, methodologies — is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute:
- a formal offer or proposal under applicable contract law,
- a guarantee of specific business outcomes,
- legal, financial, or investment advice.
Content is provided "as is". Implementing described solutions independently, without prior agreement, is done entirely at the implementer's own risk.
3. Limitation of Liability
codefloat is not liable for any damages arising from:
- use of the publicly available content on this site,
- temporary unavailability of the site (maintenance, third-party outages),
- errors or inaccuracies in informational materials.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — text, graphics, code — is copyright protected and owned by codefloat.
Intellectual property created during an actual engagement (source code, ML models, technical documentation) is governed by the individual B2B agreement and any applicable NDA — not these Terms.
5. How Engagements Work
Using this site or submitting the contact form does not constitute entering into a contract. Every engagement is preceded by:
- 1.A brief discovery call,
- 2.A proposal and scope of work,
- 3.A signed B2B agreement (and optionally an NDA).
Specific terms — timeline, fees, IP ownership, warranties — are defined in each individual contract.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts competent for codefloat's place of business.
7. Changes
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Material changes are indicated by updating the date visible at the top of this page.
